Gisata and the Venom Death Scythe glide into battle with speed and power. As a long ranged bomber, the Death Scythe is armed with long ranged anti capital ship weaponry, notably the Maelstrom Launcher and Viper Fangs. This does not mean that Gisata is vulnerable to fighter craft as the Death Scythe is also armed with Venom Hyper Lasers and Seeker Missiles. Speed is critical when playing as Gisata, as the Death Scythe is frail to consistent fire. Character Bio: starfoxeh.weebly.com/gisata.htmlGeneral Pepper plows right into battle with his Flagship, the CSS Wilsonheath, the largest vehicle players will get their hands on. This large cruiser is brimming with powerful weaponry that can punch through other capital ships with ease. On the downside, the Flagship has trouble targeting fighter craft and must rely on it's self targeting turrets and Haywire Missiles to keep them at bay. The Flagship's large size makes it an easy target to hit as well, players will have to be mindful of their position and keep an eye on the facing of enemy capital ships; going head to head with a fleet of Harlocks can result in a Plasma Cannon barrage to death. Character Bio: starfoxeh.weebly.com/general-pepper.html First off. I love General Pepper's cruiser. Can't wait to play it. Ok, So there are a few things I wanted to ask. 1) Is Gisata a character from the main Series? If so, from what game does she hale from? Or is she a unique character for Star Fox: Event Horizon? 2) I would also like to know the answer for these questions for all the other characters in Star Fox: Event Horizon? What game do they hale from? Etc... 3) In the Star Fox: Event Horizon Demo. I read in the Tech Room under history, That there was a Aparoid Invasion of the lilat system. I know that took place in the Star Fox Assault game. But my question Is. Are there plans for a Mission Arc that deals with the Aparoids, And takes place at the Time of the Aparoid Invasion of the lilat system? 4) Are there plans for a playable character/ship that is an Aparoid? Or are there plans to have a playable character/ship that have a High level of the Aparoid infection? Like Pigma from Star Fox Assault. Also are there plans to have a playable character/ship that have any affiliation to the Aparoids, like they work for them, or are a ally of them, Or they salvaged Aparoind tech and use it in their ship?

I just tried out some of the demo and had a couple questions. First, will the menus and overall game interface be changed in any way to give it more of a star fox feel or will the full release continue to use the standard Free Space 2 interface? Second, given how the majority of the star fox games gave you direct warnings on who among your team needed saving, will there be something similar implemented? Thirdly, will there be prompts added to the game that automatically enact staple maneuvers (Somersault, U-turn, Barrel Roll)? Its probably just because I'm unfamiliar with flight simulators, but it felt awkward to do some of those tricks manually. Does FreeSpace 2 even allow the possibility for the barrel roll to deflect attacks?

For example the Arwing X-02 will have the SF 64 Interface, the X-03 will have the Assault Interface, etc. 2) There will be warnings, both a portrait and a flashing indicator will pop up. 3) This is actually a really good idea and I do believe it is quite possible to assign maneuvers to specific keys, I have no clue why I did not think of this yet. I'll definitely look into this as soon as possible. It could further help make each craft unique, each one being able to pull off different evasive maneuvers.

Admiral Peppy Hare commands the experimental Protheon in battle, bringing his years of experience with him. The Protheon is an oddity, being a large capital ship the size of a frigate yet packing the firepower of a ship larger than its size and the speed to outrun many targets. Admiral Hare's large ship can run circles around enemy cruisers while gunning down fighters, though his ship's power is mostly forward facing. The Protheon is very vulnerable from the rear, and directly attacking its Transpulse strip can cause its weapons to backfire and explode. Character Bio: starfoxeh.weebly.com/admiral-peppy-hare.html
Amanda Toad is back, this time in command of the speedy medical corvette Aqua Vitae. While lacking in durability and firepower, the ship is incredibly defensive with state of the art repair systems and is very deadly when in close range. With omni slicing beams that can target multiple enemies from any direction and deployable mines and turrets, Amanda can quickly reinforce a location while zipping around from hotspot to hotspot. This cast of ships and character is becoming better each day. And I have 2 question, why you haven't add a shield generator? Especially for the capital ships (as long the shield is on, the subsystem cannot be destroyed, you can even set some weapon more effective against shield and some other more effective against the hull, bringing more diversity and tactic to the game, especially for the multiplayer). 3) This is actually a really good idea and I do believe it is quite possible to assign maneuvers to specific keys, I have no clue why I did not think of this yet. I don't really understand this point, why assign a key for a special maneuvers when the player can do it by itself simply with it's own pilot skill?

I already know for the anti-fighter and anti-capital weapons, but I just saw that some descriptions of weapons also refers to the shield, but when in game I can see my hull HP and nothing about the shield (or I am blind).

The Shield Display is not working on some craft. It's visible when playing the Arwing X-03, it's the bubble split into 4 quadrants down near the bottom central right of the screen. When a part of the shield takes damage a section of the bubble fades away. I don't really understand this point, why assign a key for a special maneuvers when the player can do it by itself simply with it's own pilot skill? For a Barrel Roll it would help out, being able to spin faster than normal at the cost of energy and creating an energy effect like in canon games. It could also be used for moves that aid in losing missile locks, something barely possible by just trying to manually dodge them. Basically the Countermeasures system from Freespace 2, but instead of shooting down missiles your craft pulls off an insane stunt like a Barrel Roll.

If I understand, the shield should be where I have put the red circle on this screeshot?

If I understand, the shield should be where I have put the red circle on this screeshot? Yes that's where it's supposed to be. I'm guessing it not showing up must be random then.
