Have you check the sound frequency used by your other PC, see if it's not the same between all of your PC? Some game doesn't like a frequency over 48000Hz, Skyrim had this issues before he get patched.

Been watching the (rapid) progress of this for a couple weeks now, and I have to say that from the looks of the videos, this is the radical genre shift Star Fox needs. I have been chomping at the bit to try a demo for some time now, so it's cool to see one available. Keep on going =) !

Found a bug with the demo. When I change the sound settings in game. And then click accept. It undoes my changes to the sound setting. So I'm stuck with the sound settings you start with. There is also a few spelling errors with the Ship's and weapon's Descriptions.

After this first hour of testing, it's look good, I haven't find any major bug atm.
I have only one big issue, the keymap option in QWERTY, it's realy a pain when you play with a AZERTY keyboard, that does not stop me from playing but it takes quite a time to adapt. Another issue with the keaymap is the game dosen't want to use the scroll wheel (I wanted to use the scroll wheel to set my speed and release most of the other key who control the speed to be able to reassign them to other control of my taste).

I'm not entirely sure if you said what I am about to suggest since it seems like you are trying to keymap to the scroll wheel, but have you tried mapping the keys to what you prefer in the Options menu? I'm not fond of the default Freespace control scheme either and always set my keys to custom ones I prefer.

Yes I can mapping the other key, the prob is since i have a AZERTY keybord, the key I set is not the one showed on my keybord and so i need to remember each key I have set, because if i forget one key, the mapping showed in the option will not be the same as showed on my keybord, that why it's take a lot of time to adapt. EDIT: ok I'm fine with the control now and so I was able to do some further test on the gameplay itself. The first observation is that it is very difficult to perform precise maneuvers, the problem is not the ships, but the controls of Free Space. If possible, Event Horizon need to have the flying style of War Thunder or Freelancer with is "free mouse driven" system, let me explain... The mouse dosen't directly control the ship, it's the ship who follow the mouse cursor (if and only if I push on the key to let the ship following the cursor, otherwise the ship does not follow the cursor) With this, I can also choose precisely on what firing And finaly, I am free to use and play with the rotation of the ship and benefit of the pitch and yaw for increasing my maneuverability when I want to turn. The huge benefit of this flying style is that we don't need to continue to move the mouse to keep the flight path (always move the mouse upwards to move up for example), I just need to move a bit the mouse and the ship follow until I release the button of the keybord or if I move the mousse on the center of the screen.

How do I slow down the game? Ever thing is moving so fast compared to the Videos Neph showed us. @ Novarek Have you tried a joystick, instead of using a Mouse?

I dosen't have a joystick atm, but I have already try the joystick on this kind of game, and the mouse is still a lot more accurate. EDIT: Nephalim, I can rework all the voice of the tech data bank if you want. Apparently if I am correct, the game simply read the text in the tech data, using the Microsoft Anna voice, then making pronunciation error (because only the phonetic writing is read correctly by the voice bot). Here is an "fixed" example (tech data of the AL4) soundcloud.com/novarek/test/s-P2X38If you can make the game able to launch another sound bank (the music + the voice data, and so I will be able to use a beter voice than Anna) in the tech & mission data, I can fix all the voice and send you the file.

It's possible that there is some graphics glitch with the bombs. I know for HTW if there is a bug in a model, it will cause CTDs.

All of the player characters have been finalized and their models are complete, bringing the final roster up to 27. Who else will end up joining the fray? I'll be revealing them in pairs over the next few weeks as I finish their crafts of choice, in the meantime I'll leave you all with this:
