Well, that and Starfox tends to be prime bait for trolls Even I admit Star Fox is a pretty easy target. I stayed away from making a Star Fox game for years because of the stigma, that and I was unfortunately attached to a cringe worthy project a few years ago that made me want to stay away. I don't blame people wanting to poke fun at a bunch of furries in space, even Dylan Cuthbert seems to regret giving into Miyamoto's anthro choice. I have rarely seen the criticism made by other players against StarFox and it's furries style, most of the time, it was mostly young player with a poor gaming culture, the most violent criticism comming from the fans themselves, the Sonic saga have also the same problem with is fan base. That remind me the case of Matt Sulivan (storyboard artist for the Simpson) who wanted to produce a reboot of the TV show Sonic satam, with a more mature story, specially dedicated to old fans who watched the original series and are now adults. I followed this project very closely at the time because I loved this idea, this was not the case for many hardcore fan who considered this project as a blasphemy, after a wave of troll and aggressive post, Matt Sulivan has not given any sign of life about is project... For those who are curious, here is what should have been the scenario for this reboot

I got a quick question, think it answers itself pretty much but still, is there going to be any kind of LandMaster/OnFoot missions like on Assault or only space fights?

Well, this kind of level looks pretty awesome, and the bloom from the explosions help alot giving it an underwater ambience. Good job Also, are those some kind of submarine anglar motherships?

Also, are those some kind of submarine anglar motherships? All Anglar ships are capable of submerging themselves as well as space flight like they could in Command. They are a naturally aquatic race after all. Those larger ships in the video are Anglar Cruisers, they'll be in space as well. Corneria and Venom all have different units under water though. We also got a first look at the Aquans too, though there are only a minor presence in the game at the moment.

The level look good but i don't feel the "water effect" on the handling of the Blue Marine, maybe you can use and boost the gliding effect of the Arwing X-Phoenix for the Blue Marine, drastically reducing the turn rate proportionally to the speed could also be a good idea to simulate the friction resistence of water.
Adding a distorsion effect (like the one on the Blue Marine engine) on the wings of the Blue Marine when he use the afterburn could add a nice effect of water distorsion caused by the pressure exerted on the water by the high speed of the Blue Marine.
But again, it's difficult to make an accurate analysis without having played the game.

There's too much to react to after two weeks gone so i'll just say this: I'm happy with the latest revelations. Harrion and Lucy look nice and the gameplay of their respective ships look great. Also I'm happy to see that the forum filled while I was gone.

Hey by any chances, are you planning to use those ships you got on the RTS version of the game? Such as the Cornerian siege cruiser and such?

Pretty much every ship from the RTS that was planned will show up. With a texture and material upgrade I presume. Most definitely. Compare the new Cornerian Starbase with the old one from the RTS.
